It is free to sign up to Bristol Dating enabling you to:

- View members profiles
- See when other members are online
- Send winks to other members as a way of introducing yourself
- Add members to your favourites list so you can find them again quickly
- see who has sent you a message (but not read them)
To send or receive a message or read members diaries you will need to upgrade to a full member. Instructions and prices to upgrade to a full member are provided within the site.
We do not under any circumstances sell or share members contact details with any third parties.
You have full control over what information you want other members to see, you can modify your profile at any time. We will never pass on any contact details (e.g. email address or telephone number) to other members.
You can block another member by clicking on the 'ignore member' link in their profile.
Your email address is never shown to other members. We use your email address to validate your account, to notify you of any new matches and special offers. You can select which type of emails you want to receive within the site.
The only use of your postcode is to better enhance your matches by showing you members near you. In addition you can use our innovative 'who's near me' map feature to see roughly where members are in relation to you. You postcode is never passed on to other members.
Although the instances of a person being scammed on any internet dating site is low, we understand the devastating impact this can have on the victim. We try our very hardest to root out these people, all profiles and member communications go through an automated and manual process to ensure you are safe. If you believe you have found a scammer on our site then use the 'report this profile' feature on their profile and we will immediately investigate.

On our payment page you can choose between a 1 month, 3 month, 6 month and 12 month membership. The longer the membership term, the greater the discount provided. Please note that this is a subscription service so you will automatically be re-billed at the end of the period unless you cancel.
